▶︎ Q3 : 楽器をはじめたきっかけと、何故プロの音楽家になろうと思ったのか、教えてください。

The reason you started playing that instrument and why you decided to become a professional musician?

​

人生の中で何か一つ、自分だけのスキルを身に付けたいと思ってフルートを始めました。

「プロの音楽家になろう」と意識したことはなく、多くの人に支えられながら自分の好きなことを続けていたら、今に至ります！

The reason I started playing is because I wanted to acquire one unique skill in my life.

Frankly, I never thought of becoming a professional musician. With the support of many people, I was able to continue doing my favorite thing.

▶︎ Q4 : その楽器の魅力は何ですか？

Whats an attractive point of your instrument?

​

繊細な音の表現ができるところ。

あとはどんな楽器とも音色の相性が良いので、クラシックだけでなく、ジャズやロックなど、様々なジャンルでも活躍できるところです！

The appeal of this instrument is its ability to express delicate sounds. The other thing is that it can be matched for any instrument, so can be used not only in classical music, but also in jazz, rock, and many other genres!

▶︎ Q5 : プロとして普段どんなことに気をつけていますか？また、どのようにモチベーションを保っていますか？

Is there anything you keep in mind as a professional and how do you keep your motivation?

​

唇を使う楽器なので、演奏前に辛いものを食べるのは控えています x)

あとは、音楽以外にも色んなモノ・コトに触れて、日々たくさんの発見や学びを得ようと心がけています。様々な感情・知識・経験を取り込んで、自分の音楽や教養に繋げていきたいなと思っています！

モチベーションはあまり意識したことがないです。吹きたい時に吹いて、気分が乗らないときは無理に吹きません！

Since flute uses lips, I try to reduce eating spicy foods before performing x)

I also discover and learn a lot by experiencing various things other than music so that I could connect them to my music skill and education! 

I've never been very conscious of motivation. I play when I want to play, and if I don't force myself to play if I don't want to!

▶︎ Q6 : 演奏中のハプニングエピソード、そしてそれをどう乗り越えたのか教えてください。

Do you have any episodes of accident (or you surprised) during the performance and how did you deal with it?

​

イベントでの演奏中、お客さんに話しかけられたことです！吹いてると口が塞がっているので、一瞬困ってしまいましたが、曲中の休符部分を使ってなんとか受け答えできました（笑）

One time, an audience member suddenly spoke to me during a performance! Since I was playing, couldn't talk for a moment, but I tried answer by using the middle of the song lol

▶︎ Q7 : 休日のリフレッシュ方法は何ですか？

Whats your way to refresh yourself during the holidays?

​

目覚ましをかけずに寝て、1日ベッドから出ずにアニメや漫画、アイドルの動画を観まくります！

Sleep without setting an alarm, watch anime, manga, and idol videos all day in bed!

▶︎ Q8 : ​日本でオススメしたい場所やモノは何ですか？

Any recommendations of places to visit (or things) in Japan?

​

アニメ、漫画、お寿司、ラーメン、和食、京都、浅草、岡山（←私の地元！）...挙げきれません！！

Anime, manga, sushi, ramen, Japanese food, Kyoto, Asakusa, Okayama (← my hometown!) ...I can't list them all!

▶︎ Q9 : もしあなたが音楽家でなかったら、どんな仕事をしていたと思いますか？

If you were not a musician, what kind of work would you be doing?

​

昔から国語科目や作文が得意だったので、国語の先生を目指していたと思います。言葉から意図を汲み取ったり、文章で人に何かを伝える面白さを教えていきたいです！

I wanted to be a Japanese teacher because I was good at Japanese subjects and writing. I'd like to teach people the fun of figuring out intentions from words and grasp the author's intent through writing!

What do you think are the three most appealing points of the Minichestra?

​

① 実力と思いやりのある素晴らしいチームメンバーたちと一緒に、クオリティの高いパフォーマンスを追究できること。

② チームが一丸となって、いつも前向きに挑戦し、取り組んでいること。

③ 国内外を問わず、たくさんの素敵なファンの皆様がいてくださること。

(1) To be able to pursue high quality performance with great team members.

(2) The team is always challenging and working together as one, with a positive attitude.

(3) Have many wonderful fans, both in Japan and overseas.

▶︎ Q11 : これまでのMinichestraの活動の中で、一番印象に残っていることは？

What left an impression the most in the activities of the Minichestra so far?

​

演奏を聴いてくださった全てのお客さまの笑顔や反応です！どの公演でも、毎回とても印象に残っています。

The thing that always impresses me is the smiles and reactions of all the audience members who listened to our performance!

▶︎ Q12 : Minichestraで演奏する曲の中で一番気に入ってる曲は？

Whats your favorite music that you played in Minichestra?

​

1つだけ挙げるなら、東京喰種 トーキョーグール : reの最終章OPの『katharsis』です！静と動の浮き沈みが激しい曲で、表現力が試されます（笑）

If I had to pick just one, it would be "katharsis" from the OP of the final chapter of Tokyo Ghoul: re! It tests my expression because this song has a lot of ups and downs in terms of stillness and movement lol

▶︎ Q13 : Minichestraとして、あなたはどこの国へ演奏しに行ってみたい？

What country would you like to go to perform as the Minichestra?

​

地球上の全ての国です！国の大きさや環境、文化に囚われず、世界中の人にMinichestraの演奏を聴いて楽しんでいただきたいです。

I want to visit every country on earth! I hope that people from all over the world, regardless of country size, environment, or culture, will listen to and enjoy Minichestra's performances.

Is there anything you would like to challenge in the future?

​

色んな国の言語をマスターして、海外の人とたくさんコミュニケーションをとりたいです！あとは、皆さんに私たちMinichestraの音楽をもっと楽しんでいただけるように、様々な工夫や仕掛けを今後さらに考えていけたらなと思っています。

I want to master the languages of many countries and communicate with people from overseas! I also hope to come up with more ideas and surprises in performance so that everyone can enjoy the music of Minichestra even more.
